I have also been able to put all the USB connectors from 7 devices into a single USB 3 hub and have them all recognized by both Logic on my Mac Pro (trash can version) and the MPC One. I am not sure how well this will work or if I am doing it the best way, but I just picked up two five-way splitters (Galaxy Audio) that I plan to use to send audio from the 3 and 4 channel aux sends of my new Mackie 1642VLZ4 mixer to the right and left inputs of several devices (Apollo Twin, Kronos, Analog 4, and MPC One), with the remaining aux 3 and 4 also going to the mono inputs of the MatrixBrute and Mother 32). So, if you do have multiple in’s and outs, how do you route things? What is your fav controller? Computer processor (I want to uprgade to a 10th gen i7. Would be cool to have an audio channel in Bitwig recording audio clips of whatever VST is happening, then have a separate channel that is routed only to the OT inputs, and drag the audio clips into that channel, record that into the OT. The Babyface Pro only has stereo outs on board. I have a OG Motu828 from almost 20 years ago that hasn’t been in the mix, but I’m going to try and hook that up to the RME with ADAT to expand the RME. There is also Ableton Push…I may buy one of those Uhe controllers. I use Bitwig (Bitwig Seq/Grid working with the OT is really exciting), and I see you can use things like Native Instruments Kontrol series with it. So, I’m starting this actual hybrid path and I’m wondering how you are doing things? It’s like the real light bulb moment! I’m on top of the world. Played and recorded for hours-zero jitter. 2.67ms latency!!! OMFG, I am finally there. Well, I finally shelled out for an RME Babyface Pro… And, wait for it…. Actually, if they just in my case, synced together super tight.

So I love my Octatrack and all my other hardware, but I am also super inspired by the software side of things and how life would be if they worked together well.
